I've always enjoyed drawing, all that I could detail with a pencil and paper. Painting is different, I have no idea how to paint and have limited control (in comparison); my hand rarely does what I want when I paint. So I've given up trying to control what goes on that canvas, and though its no master piece, I've taken solace in the fact that I don't have to pay too much attention to detail and get lost in the liberty of color.
Now if only I could learn to photograph paintings better.
